Match Preview
Raith Rovers welcome Airdrieonians to Stark’s Park this weekend, as the new interim management team look to get off to a winning start.
Paul Hanlon was named as new stand in boss in midweek following the departure of Barry Robson, and the central defender will be assisted by John Potter and Mark McKenna.
Robson departed the club following a 2-1 loss to Queen’s Park last weekend, a result which left Rovers sixth in the table and a point off the playoff spots.
The Diamonds have also undergone a change in the dugout in recent weeks, following Danny Lennon’s departure following a 4-0 defeat to Dunfermline in October.
While the club still sit in 10th spot, their performances have improved in recent weeks under caretaker boss Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, picking up their first league win of the season over Arbroath, and coming within a whisker of defeating Partik Thistle last time out, only to concede an equaliser in the final few seconds.
The two sides earlier meeting this season was a 0-0 draw at the Albert Bartlett stadium in September.
Saturday’s match referee will be Lloyd Wilson.
