Wintry weather over the last 24 hours has already put paid to tomorrow evening’s Irn Bru Scottish Football League 1st Division match against Partick Thistle.

With overnight frost forecast, Rovers moved quickly this morning to request an early pitch inspection, in order to minimise inconvenience to all concerned. Following a 2.30pm inspection this afternoon, the game has been called off by a local referee.

It is likely that the Stark’s Park match will now be re-arranged for Tuesday 2nd April. Confirmation to follow.

Partick Thistle are also due to compete in the Ramsdens Cup Final on Sunday 7th April, so our league match against them, scheduled for Saturday 6th April has also been switched and will now be played on Tuesday 16th April at Firhill.
