Our 20 year celebration of the ‘Magic of Munich’ event on Boxing Day is coming together very well indeed. We have had a number of great contributions for our South Stand concourse table displays and there will be a brilliant selection of pictures and articles adorning the concourse walls too! We will have a ‘memories board’ where fans can write up their own recollections from the matches at Easter Road or trip to Germany and our Concourse TV screens will also be showing a tremendous compilation of match highlights and fan clips from 20 years ago which is certain to bring back a lot of memories!

Prematch, we are pleased to announce that there will be signing session from 2.15pm in the South Stand Concourse with several Rovers players from the 1995 UEFA cup matches versus Bayern Munich. Already confirmed are skipper Davie Sinclair and midfielder Alex Taylor with we hope more to be added. Make sure you drop by for a bit of nostalgia with the lads!

Our matchday program Rovers Review priced at £2 will have some special features and fan memories and we will also have a special European version of Guess the Team to win an exclusive signed iconic picture taken from the Olympiastadion in Munich. Tickets are priced £1 available from the Trust Table with contributions going towards the Roary Club.

Just to keep us all festive and colourful, we will also have a limited number of navy blue and white Santa hats for sale around the ground priced at £2, with all contributions going towards the creation of this season’s Rovers Collector Card Player Series scheduled for early 2016!

Finally, we hope, weather dependent, that we will be able to bring a special half time feature using our former players… let’s just say ’Bend it Like Lennon’ (minus the deflection!)….

Remember we want to see you all in blue, red and white colours for the day or even better if you have Bayern or Rovers tops from 1995 then squeeze them on! If you are spotted by our eagle eye volunteers, we have a restricted number of limited edition postcard prints to giveaway to those who are dressed to remember the Magic of Munich!

Danke schön & See you Boxing Day!
