Lloyd Simpson in training

Eighteen year old Raith fan and charity fund raiser Lloyd Simpson was handed an opportunity of a lifetime by the Rovers management team when he was invited to take part in a full training session with the squad at the teams training facility the  Michael Woods Sport and Leisure Centre in Glenrothes.

Grant and Laurie had heard of Lloyds efforts to raise funds for the Muirhead Outreach Project Children’s Charity, which is based in Glenrothes with money raised by Lloyd going to the charity that supports disadvantaged children with Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.

Lloyd joined in a spirited and full on training session and impressed the Gaffer and the players with his power and skills. To help him in his fundraising ventures team captain Jason Thomson presented Lloyd with a signed Team photo and match ball on behalf of Raith Rovers Football Club.
