Lest We Forget
As the nation pauses to remember the 100th Anniversary of The Great War, at Raith Rovers Football Club, we ourselves would like to take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember the people of Kirkcaldy, and the Raith Rovers players who enlisted and fought in this terrible conflict, and in particular, those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the duty of King and Country. Standing: Jimmy Todd (killed March 12 1916 aged 20), Jimmy Gourlay. Seated: George McLay (killed October 22 1917 aged 28), William Lavery, Jimmy Scott (killed July 1 1916), and James H. Logan. Not pictured: Willie Porter. LEST WE FORGET.
