Lest We Forget

Raith Rovers Football Club was proudly represented this morning at the Heart of Midlothian Memorial at Haymarket, Edinburgh by long serving player and First Team Coach Laurie Ellis and even longer serving supporter Marshall Bowman, who had travelled down to the capital from Lybster especially for the event.

A wreath was laid amongst many others at 11.00 as the Nation Remembered the fallen of two World Wars and other conflicts since. In particular, Raith Rovers FC joins with Heart of Midlothian FC and other clubs to Remember the players of our clubs who joined McCrae’s Battalion during the Great War of 1914-18 and paid the ultimate sacrifice.
