Young goalkeeper Kyle Bow has today had a loan move to Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts finalised.

It’s a return to his roots for Kyle, who turned 17 at the start of this month, as he was at Swifts before moving on to Fife Elite Football Academy. He had also been at Duloch Juniors, Elgin Star and Hearts during his primary school years.

Commenting on the loan, Rovers Assistant Manager Paul Smith said “Kyle has done really well since signing as a Modern Apprentice last season, and has learnt a lot training with Jamie MacDonald and Robbie Thomson under the guidance of Goalkeeper coach David McGurn. He’ll get valuable game time back at Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, which will benefit his development as a goalkeeper”.

Kyle will train part-time with Swifts (as well as with the Rovers squad the rest of the week), and will remain with the East of Scotland Football League side until January 2021.
