Kieran Mitchell has today re-joined SPFL League 2 side Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic FC on loan until the end of the current season.

Having returned to the Rovers earlier this month from his initial loan spell at Bonnyrigg, 19 year old Kieran featured in 3 matches for The Rovers – he will return to Bonnyrigg so that he experiences regular matchday action in a competitive environment for the rest of the season.

He will join up with fellow Rover Aaron Arnott who joined Bonnyrigg on loan earlier this month.

Kieran has now made 21 appearances for the club (scoring 1 goal in a friendly) since signing as a Modern Apprentice at the start of last season.

“Mitch” started his football journey at Bayside FC, moving on to the  Hearts Youth Academy and then FEFA (Fife Elite Football Academy), and will continue to train with the Rovers squad through the week as well as with the Bonnyrigg squad.

Kieran benefitted greatly from a loan spell at Lowland League side Bo’ness United last season.

Raith Rovers would like to place on record our Thanks to all at Bonnyrigg for their continued co-operation in making this loan deal possible, and wish Kieran well at New Dundas Park.
