Raith Rovers (Court, 55) – 1 Stirling Albion (Evans, 64)

Rovers rue missed chances as honours are even in the last game of the year.

The Rovers started brightly with Osei doing a power of running and shooting wide in the first minute, next he supplied Stevenson whose turn and shot brought out the best in Mark Foden the Stirling keeper.

Stirling had an opportunity from the kick out with Callum MacDonald the recipient of a cross but his header looped wide past the post.
It seemed like only a matter of time before Rovers scored, with Stevenson, Court and Osei having better than half chances only to see the ball go wide or be blocked by Foden.

Osei had further efforts on goal but must have thought he was shooting against a force field as he did everything but score.
Ryan Stevenson came closest in the last minute of the half when he picked up a loose ball on the left and the ball looked to be in the net but for a clearance off the line by Dillon Young.

The second half started at pace with Osei, Bell Stevenson and Court all coming close to scoring.
The deadline was broken on the 55th minute when Bell picked up a through ball and looked likely to shoot as a timely tackle sent the ball into the path of Johnny Court who lashed the ball into the bottom left corner past the out-stretched Foden 1-0

Rovers could have doubled the lead five minutes later, Yaw and Stevenson playing a 1-2, alas the return ball saw Yaw stymied as he fired the ball into a sea of legs.
A stoppage saw Davidson make way for the Trialist, from the kick out the ball fell to Vezza his run saw him cut along the by-line his shot at the near post smothered by Lennox.

The Binos kept up the pressure and on the 64th minute a McMullen corner finds McLaren at the back post, his pass found Taylor Evans in the middle of the box where he sent the ball into the net past the stranded Lennox 1-1

The equaliser spurred on the Binos; Vezza and Cameron testing Lennox from close range, his counterpart was in turn put to the sword with Foden denying Court and Osei.

Yaw looked to be clean through ten minutes from time but he stumbled but managed not once but twice to win the ball lying on the deck, the last ball fell to Court who hooked the ball over the bar from the edge of the area.

The last touch of the game saw Court hit a low ball which was smothered by the diving Foden.
