We are delighted to announce that Callum Fordyce has agreed a one-year deal to extend his stay in Kirkcaldy.

The powerful defender joined the club in 2024 following a spell with Airdrie and has been a key player in the heart of our defence ever since.

Despite picking up a serious injury last season, Dycey worked his way back to fitness and was delighted to sign a new deal with the club:

“I’m delighted to sign a new contract. It was a no-brainer after speaking with the manager a few weeks back, so I’m delighted to finally get it announced and I’m over the moon to get going again next season.

“Working with the manager since coming back from a freak injury has been really enjoyable. The way he wants to play football suits the way I like to play, so it made the decision an easy one.

“Getting back on the pitch after being out for so long has been brilliant. We picked up some big results and just fell short of the play-offs, but winning a cup for the club with such a special group of players was a great achievement. It gives you that extra hunger to push on next season, try to replicate that success and aim for promotion.”

Callum has already racked up over 50 appearances in a Rovers shirt, but is keen to add some memorable moments to his Raith career:

“Next season will be another tough one with the teams in the league, as everyone has the same ambition to win promotion. It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to, and I’ll do everything I can to help the club achieve its goals.

For now, it’s about resting, recovering, spending time with family and making sure I’m ready to go again for next season.”

Delighted to have you back for another season, Dycey!
