Everyone at Raith Rovers Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the death of former Chairman Bill Clark.

Bill had been ill in recent months, and passed away on Monday 8th January 2024.

A lifelong Rovers supporter, Bill joined the Board of RRFC as a Director in October 2017, and was appointed Chairman of the football club in May 2018.

As a former Educator, he held a keen interest in youth football and as a Rovers Director was heavily involved in the administration of the Raith Rovers Development squad (coached by Craig Easton and Scott Robertson) that won 2 Development League titles.

As Chairman, he led the club diligently through the challenges that COVID brought to football in 2020. He stepped down from the board in early 2022.

Our thoughts and respectful best wishes are with his widow Ann and the rest of the Clark family at this sad time, and as a mark of respect from all at Raith Rovers FC, a minutes silence will take place ahead of kick-off v Queen’s Park tomorrow at Stark’s Park.
