Arron Lyall Joins the Rovers!
Raith Rovers is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Arron Lyall, on an two-year-deal.
The 22-year-old signed for Ross County last season and spent time on loan with Championship rivals Greenock Morton, before being released from his contract with County, following their relegation to League One.
After penning his deal, Arron, said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to sign for the club. I’ve already seen how passionate the fans are and can’t wait to play in front of them.
“It’s very important having a previous relationship with the gaffer and how much trust he’s showed in me before. I think that showed with me playing my best football under him, so hopefully it’s a repeat of that.
“I can’t wait to get going and having been on the other side of games at Stark’s Park before, I’m buzzing to get going in front of the fans and show them what I can do with their full support.”
Arron began his career in the youth system at Rangers, spending time out on with Inverness CT and Airdrieonains, before departing for Morton in 2024. A dynamic player who can play on either wing, Arron re-unites with gaffer Dougie Imrie, who brought him to Cappielow.
During his first spell with Morton, Arron impressed in his 42 appearances, being named as Morton’s Young Player of the Season. He would then find his way to Dingwall, featuring in all four Premier Sports Cup Group Stage games, before being loaned back to Morton for the season.
Ready for a fresh challenge, Arron will bring energy and quality to the Rovers team this season.
Welcome to the Rovers, Arron!
