Ali Adamson Joins Board of Directors
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ali Adamson to the Raith Rovers Board of Directors.
A statement from the Board of Directors reads:
“We are delighted to welcome Ali to the Board and look forward to working closely with him as we continue to move the club forward.
“Over the last year, through Adamson Doors’ sponsorship of the manager’s kit, we have got to know Ali well and have always been impressed by his enthusiasm, energy and willingness to help the football club.
“When the opportunity arose to strengthen the Board, Ali was an obvious choice. His extensive business experience, commercial knowledge and strong network of local contacts will be a tremendous asset to the club.
“As a lifelong supporter, he also understands exactly what Raith Rovers means to the local community and our supporters.”
Upon joining the Board, Ali said:
“When the Board invited me to join, it was an easy decision to make.
“I have supported Raith Rovers for approximately 50 years and have many fond memories of attending matches with my father and brother, back when there were no seats behind the goals.
“I am passionate about the football club and look forward to supporting the Board and helping the club continue to progress both on and off the park.”
Ali brings a wealth of business experience to the Board as Founder and Managing Director of Adamson Doors.
Prior to establishing Adamson Doors, he built Glenrothes-based Scandic Doors & Windows into a highly successful business before its acquisition by a major Norwegian company.
Born and raised in Kirkcaldy, Ali has strong ties to the local community and has developed an extensive network of business contacts throughout the area.
Ali’s primary focus on the Board will be supporting the club’s sponsorship and commercial activities, helping to strengthen existing relationships while developing new opportunities that will contribute to the continued growth of Raith Rovers Football Club.
