19 year old midfielder Aaron Arnott has joined SPFL League 2 side Bonnyrigg Rose FC on loan for the remainder of the season.

Playmaker Aaron was previously on loan in the Highland League at Brechin City, and the move to The Rose will allow him to experience regular game time.

After young striker Kieran Mitchell’s successful loan spell at New Dundas Park earlier this season, the Rovers management were happy for Aaron to join Bonnyrigg for the remainder of the season.

Aaron came through the age groups at FEFA (Fife Elite Football Academy) and first signed as a Modern Apprentice in season 2020-21.

In August 2021 Aaron signed a full professional contract with the club, extending his time at the Rovers through to the end of the current season. His contract was then extended (on 20th April 2022) to the end of season 2023-24.

Aaron has made 23 appearances for the Rovers, scoring 1 goal (the winning goal at Rugby Park that got the Rovers to last season’s SPFL Trust Trophy Final).

Best of luck at Bonnyrigg Aaron!
