Watch the goals as they happen

Raith Rovers Abroad, the online matchday service for supporters that can’t make it to Stark’s Park, begins its new season tomorrow for the game against Hamilton with a significant addition to the service.

Since early 2012, the service has offered minute-by-minute audio commentaries of home league games, and many away matches too. In addition, fans can interact with other people tuning in around the World through the chat board, and also see the official RRFC text updates and scoreline.

After a successful series of tests during the friendlies, the service is now offering live video streaming of home league matches to people outside the UK & Ireland. This is offered in addition to the existing audio service, which will still be available to people in the UK.

With the expansion of the service, new pricing is being introduced. The full international package, which adds the live video stream to the existing audio package, is set at £80 for the full season. The audio service is being reduced to £40 – that’s half the price it was at launch last season.

You can also subscribe for single matches for either £6 (video) or £3 (audio). If you’re outside the UK, but are just after the audio, you can still opt for the cheaper package.

The aim is to cover all home league games, and as many away matches as possible.

With some new commentators, and Steven beaming the footage across from the Railway Stand, the expanded RRA team is looking forward to bringing all the action of the new Championship to fans across the globe.

To access the live streams of either the video or audio, you’ll need a computer that can handle Flash. Most Apple portable devices (iPods, iPhones, iPads) cannot handle these without third-party apps. The video feed requires a fairly quick internet connection – if you struggle to watch YouTube or other online video streaming services, you may not be able to get a steady picture.
