Hello everyone,

With a quarter of the season now played, I am delighted with how we have performed so far. To be sitting where we are in the league is very pleasing and I must pay credit to the squad who have worked extremely hard, shown a great attitude and given everything that they can each week. As a manager, I really can’t ask for much more from our players who are a tremendous group to work with.

We now have a massive match at home this coming Saturday against Hibernian with a 3pm kick off. Stark’s Park has been a superb foundation for us this season and as we go into this game, we are still unbeaten here and will be looking to record six league wins in a row for the first time since 2008/09 season. We know it will be difficult but we will certainly go in with confidence and try our very best to keep this run going.

Our support both at home and away has been excellent and it really does make a difference to the players when we have that positive backing. It is no coincidence that we have managed to record some late goals in games and the fans must take a share of the credit for this as well by encouraging the team right to the final whistle.

To those fans who have been at our games already this season, and I’m sure you’ll be there again this Saturday, you will know that we are all trying to increase our club and our fanbase. If you can, please try to encourage any relatives or friends along who may be lapsed supporters in order to attract them back.

For anyone who hasn’t yet been to a match this season, here’s a little taster of what you’ve been missing:

Finally, given the huge importance in this match, there’s sure to be a bigger crowd than usual on Saturday, so please come along as early as you can. If you do then you can meet some of the players including Lewis Vaughan and Ross Callachan outside the club shop in the South Stand between 2.00pm and 2.30pm for autographs and pictures

Thanks to everyone and, as Gordon our match announcer would say, “Let’s get right behind the Rovers!”
