‘Keeper Kevin signs up
After securing the services of 3 attacking players recently in Jack Hamilton, Josh Mullin and Callum Smith the club are delighted to add to the squad’s defensive options; announcing former Hibs goalkeeper Kevin Dąbrowski as the latest new signing to commit himself to The Rovers, after the 6ft 6in goalie committed himself to the club on a 2 year deal following his release by the Leith club.
The netminder is currently enjoying time off at home in Poland, with the deal with The Rovers negotiated and signed off by phone and email over recent days. He will report for pre-season training on Monday 12th June with the rest of the Rovers squad.
Kevin Maciej Dąbrowski hails from Poznan in Poland and has spent over 6 years at Hibernian FC after signing for the Easter Road club as an 18 year old from his hometown club Lech Poznan.
Kevin has spent time on loan in the lower leagues as part of his football development; at Berwick Rangers, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath and most recently at Queen of the South in SPFL League 1 since coming to Scotland and will work with Rovers goalkeeping coach Robbie Thomson and young goalie Andrew McNeil as he looks to make the number 1 jersey his own at Stark’s Park.
