Raith Rovers Football Club are delighted to announce that Team Captain Scott Brown has agreed an extension to his contract with The Rovers.

An almost ever-present in the starting line-up in the season just ended, Scott had already passed the games-played threshold for having his contract extended to the end of season 2023/24, and has accepted the club’s offer to extend his time at Stark’s Park by an additional season through to the end of season 2024/25.

In his first season back in full-time football after 6 years as captain at Peterhead, Scott has been a revelation this season; driving the team forward with his strong running and tackling. His goal tally for this season stands at 3, helping to secure wins v Ayr and Arbroath (twice).

In recognition of his efforts this season, ‘Broony’ cleaned up at the Club’s Player of the Year Awards last Saturday, winning 4 awards:

Manager’s Player of the Year

Players’ Player of the Year

Supporters’ Player of the Year

Best Individual Performance (for his performance v Queen’s Park)

Scott sat down with RaithTV this morning to discuss his time at the Rovers so far and his future at the club. You can view the interview below.
