Rovers manager Ian Murray has further strengthened the teams attacking wide options with the signing on a permanent deal until the end of the current season of former Blackburn Rovers winger Connor McBride, who had become a free agent when his deal with Blackburn came to an end.

21 year old Connor started his footballing education with his local team Falkirk, before then spending a year with the Celtic under 20 squad. During his time at the Glasgow giants he spent a 6 month spell on loan at Stenhousemuir before making the journey down to Lancashire after being signed by the Ewood Park side.

Most recently, Connor spent 4 months on loan at Queen’s Park last season where he played 16 games as the Spiders were promoted via the playoffs into the SPFL Championship.

Welcome to the Rovers Connor!
