Raith Rovers are proud to share the news, announced today by the SPFL, that Manager John McGlynn has been selected as the SPFL cinch Championship Manager of the Month for October 2021.

In a busy month of fixtures, the clubs league results in October yielded 11 points out of a possible 15, starting with an impressive win over league leaders Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and 3 points at home v Arbroath & Ayr respectively.

League Draws away to derby rivals Dunfermline Athletic and at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle solidified Rovers position in the playoff positions.

Another derby win (in the Challenge Cup) v near neighbours East Fife set the team up for an unbeaten run in all competitions totalling 10 games up to last weekends 3-0 victory at Hamilton, since our last defeat – a League Cup Quarter Final loss at Celtic Park on September 23rd.
