RRFC Red Zone Update October 2021

Wednesday October 13th 2021

Following a meeting with the SPFL Championship clubs, it was overwhelmingly agreed that COVID ‘Red Zones’, would remain in place for the visiting teams, with a review planned for the New Year.

Raith Rovers FC are currently looking into being able to provide changing facilities for the away teams, that will meet the JRG Red Zone guidelines, and subsequently enable the club to open up our hospitality.

  • The mainstand will continue to be a Red Zone and as s a result, we cannot allow Season Ticket holders back into the Mainstand, they will continue to be seated in the South Stand until further notice.
  • The club’s boardroom will remain closed as this is also in the red zone.

The club appreciates your patience and we are working hard to get hospitality opened up for our fans, but we are respectful of other clubs and their requirements for the ‘Red Zone’ to stay in place for their teams.

Thank you for continuing to support us and we will keep you updated.

Bill Baxter takes over as Raith Rovers manager. He took Rovers to a Scottish Cup Quarter final but league form was poor at the start of the 1971-72 season and he was dismissed in November 1971.
