Stuart Arnott in Memoriam

Saturday September 11th 2021

Raith Rovers FC wish to extend sincere condolences to the family of Stuart Arnott, who passed away yesterday (Friday 10th September 2021).

A lifelong supporter of Dunfermline Athletic, Stuart was Press Officer for the Pars for nearly 20 years, becoming well known to the nations press professionals, before becoming boardroom host at East End Park where he was a well – liked figure with the Raith Rovers FC directors and their guests over the years.

Stuart’s involvement volunteering for the Pars stretched back to his teenage years, when it was his job to update the half times scores at the stadium in the days of alphabetic noticeboards.

He will be missed by all at East End Park, as well as throughout Scottish football where he was a popular and likeable figure.

Antonio Calderon left Rovers after 2 years in charge and taking Rovers to the Second Division Championship. He became Reserve Team coach at Cadiz.
