Walker Loan Deal Extended

Tuesday January 31st 2012

Raith Rovers Football Club have confirmed today that John McGlynn and Heart Of Midlothian Football Club have reached an agreement that will see Jamie Walker further extend his stay at Stark’s Park until the end of the season.

Jamie first joined Rovers in November al
ong with Hearts team-mates David Smith and Jason Holt and, although Holt returned to Tynecastle along with fellow loanees Danny Thomson and Dennis Prychynenko at the end of the loan period at the start of January, John McGlynn and the Edinburgh club agreed to extend Jamie and David’s stay until the end of this month.

David returned to Tynecastle when the deal ended yesterday, but both clubs have agreed that the deal involving Jamie will now be upgraded to that of a Standard Temporary Transfer, and John McGlynn is delighted that he will be remaining at Stark’s Park, and he is confident that Jamie can continue to make a valuable contribution to the team for the remainder of the current campaign.
