Young Rovers extend deals

Thursday August 26th 2021

Raith Rovers have taken another step in planning for the future by extending the contracts of 4 of our Modern Apprentices.

Midfielders Aaron Arnott and Quinn Coulson, Goalkeeper Kyle Bow and striker Luke Mahady are currently on Modern Apprentice contracts that run until the end of the current season, having all joined the club in 2020.

The 4 players have played a full part in first team training since joining the club, experiencing involvement within senior squads on a regular basis. Quinn Coulson and Luke Mahady are currently out on loan, gaining invaluable experience at Cowdenbeath and Aaron Arnot recently played a part in the cup victory over Aberdeen.

Having been involved since signing, and contributing positively on a daily basis around the club last season – unfortunately each of the young men’s involvement in matchday action was limited due to the shortened season and the coronavirus pandemic situation.

Everyone at the club is delighted that all four players have agreed full – time professional contracts that run until the end of season 2022-23.

Congratulations Lads!

Antonio Calderon left Rovers after 2 years in charge and taking Rovers to the Second Division Championship. He became Reserve Team coach at Cadiz.
