Current Match Day Arrangements

Wednesday July 28th 2021

As we approach the opening game of the league campaign we hope to have as many Rovers supporters as possible #backatstarks.  It is important, however, that this is done safely and in line with the current restrictions due to Covid-19.  Season Ticket sales continue to grow, well over 1100 at last count, and as a result there are a few details we felt it was important to share ahead of Saturday’s game.

Capacity

The current capacity, allowed for a match at Stark’s, is around 2000 and is split between the Penman Stand, McDermid Stand and SM Electrical Stand.

  • Home fans will be located in the Penman Stand and the McDermid Stand, each holding a maximum of 900 supporters.
  • Away fans will be located in the SM Electrical Stand holding 170 supporters.
  • A small number of guests, press and staff will be located in the Turnbull Hutton Stand.

Please note that whilst we operate under restrictions, season tickets DO NOT guarantee you access to your allocated seat or even to your preferred stand.  Whilst we understand that the majority of Rovers supporters will want to sit in the Penman Stand, access will be on a first come first served basis so early arrival is recommended.  As, and when, this stand is full, supporters will be redirected to the McDermid stand.

Supporters are encouraged to remain within their social bubbles, in line with current guidance.  It is important that supporters follow the instructions of the stewards at all time when given direction on where they are to sit.

Face Coverings

Face coverings must be worn, unless exempt, when entering the stadium and when moving around inside the stadium.  We ask that you only remove your face covering when you are seated.

Catering

At present there will be no catering offered at Stark’s Park and so supporters are welcome to bring their own soft drinks and snacks.  Drinks will only be allowed in sealed soft plastic bottles, no rigid plastic or metal bottles will be allowed into the ground.  Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited and bag searches can be carried out at the discretion of security staff.

Smoking

Smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited within the stadium and anyone found to be smoking within the ground will be ejected.  Any supporter wishing to smoke can do so, outside the stadium at half time, by following the instructions given by security staff in the concourse area.

It is our hope that these restrictions will not be in place for too much longer but, whilst they are, we ask all supporters to work with us in ensuring that all supporters, and staff, are safe and able to enjoy the match.

We can’t wait to see you all #backatstarks!

Defender Craig McEwan scores his only goal in 127 appearances for Rover in a 2-0 league victory over Falkirk in a league match in front of 3564 at Stark's Park.
