Scottish Cup R2 draw

Monday December 28th 2020

In this evening’s draw for the Second Round of the Scottish Cup, Rovers have been drawn out of the hat to play an away tie v SPFL League 2 side Stirling Albion at Forthbank.

Second Round ties will be played over the weekend of 9th /10th January 2021 (date dependant on live TV selections to be confirmed), and will comprise 20 ties featuring teams throughout all levels of the football pyramid (outwith SPFL Premiership sides who enter the knockout competition at the Third Round stage).

For this seasons competition only there are no replays, which mean games that end in a draw after 90 minutes will go to extra-time and penalties if required.

Hearts beat Rovers 4-2 in extra-time in the William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round replay at Tynecastle. The teams finished 1-1 after 90 minutes with Bobby Barr scoring the Rovers goal in normal time. Ryan Hardie equalised a Malaury Martin Penalty in extra time before Jamie Walker and Bjorn Johnsen won it for Hearts.
