Remembrance Day

Sunday November 8th 2020

In order to maximise the safety of our staff and volunteers, Raith Rovers have had to adapt our Remembrance Day plans.

As a club it remains vitally important to us that we honour the sacrifice made on our behalf both past and present.

Supporters Director Andy Mill kindly provided an address to accompany the laying of a memorial wreath by Paul Smith within the confines of Starks Park.

In addition we are pleased to have secured permission to upload a documentary feature “Scotland’s Somme – The Story of McCrae’s Battalion produced in 2016. We are grateful to Forces TV for providing supporters the chance to see this piece which describes how some of Scotlands most talented footballers including Raith Rovers players went to war in 1914.
