Aaron Arnott

Thursday October 29th 2020

Raith Rovers have secured the talents of another talented prospect; teenage midfielder Aaron Arnott has signed a Modern Apprentice contract for the next 2 years, after impressing in training and pre-season friendlies.

Aaron is a creative midfielder who has progressed through the age groups at FEFA (Fife Elite Football Academy).

The management team of John McGlynn and Paul Smith have been impressed with the way Aaron has applied himself since joining the squad in pre-season training, initially signing as a youth player so that he could play a part in our pre-season friendlies from the bench.

Assistant Manager Paul Smith told www.raithrovers.net “John and I were greatly impressed with the way Aaron had looked after himself over lockdown, reporting back extremely fit and stronger than before. We’ve been aware of the progress he has been making, and has been on our radar the last 18 months he has been at FEFA. He has impressed greatly with his attitude and application since joining us in pre-season”

Best of luck at the Rovers Aaron!

Rovers take on Aberdeen in an 'A' Division game at Stark's Park. Rovers lose the game 2-1 with Joe McLaughlin missing an 88th minute penalty for the home side which would have secured a valuable point to stave off relegation.
