Brian Marr
Raith Rovers were saddened to learn this morning that former Kitman Brian Marr passed away yesterday.
“Gunter”, as he was known to all, served as Kitman at the Rovers from 2006 to 2015, having been brought in to the club by current manager John McGlynn in his first spell at the Rovers. He remained close friends with all the coaching and backroom staff from that era – catching up regularly with the manager, Paul Smith, Wayne Henderson and Gordon McEwan.
He was also in the dugout when we won the Ramsdens Cup at Easter Road in 2014.
Brian was a popular figure on the Fife football scene as a former player and manager at junior level.
Our thoughts are with his wife Linda and daughter Sophie.
