Rovers manager John McGlynn has made his second new signing of the transfer window, strengthening the squad’s attacking options with the signing of 27 year old striker Manny Duku on a 1 year deal.
Manny (full name: Immanuelson Kwadwo Opoku Duku) hails from The Netherlands and is of Ghanaian descent.
The big striker started his career in the Heerenveen youth academy, before spending 3 seasons playing in the lower Dutch leagues.
Manny took the opportunity to move to the UK in 2015 and played for several teams in EFL League 2, Southern League and the National League, most recently for Hayes and Yeading FC.
Manny travelled to Kirkcaldy from Milton Keynes at the weekend, and his first stop was Stark’s Park to sign his contract and try the new Rovers away shirt, sponsored by Tag Games, on for size.
