Stark’s Park Properties are delighted to welcome a familiar face from Scottish Football to the stadium.
Former Ross County and Kilmarnock defender Scott Boyd started in his new role as Stadium Development Manager recently, and after recalling games he played against the Rovers in the early part of his 10 year stint with Ross County (during which The Staggies won the league and promotion to the old SFL First Division in 2007-08, closely followed by John McGlynn’s Rovers side in 2008-09) and other highlights of a 15 year, 350+ game career he was keen to talk about his newly – created role at Raith Rovers.
Scott told www.raithrovers.net: “I am delighted to take on the newly created role of Stadium Development Manager at Starks Park. Having held numerous conversations with various Raith Rovers board members over the past few weeks I was convinced that this is an exciting project that can have a positive impact on the football club, both on and off the field.
My main priorities are to maximise the use of Starks Parks to generate income and develop a strategy for the redevelopment of various areas, including creating a Community Hub in the McDermid Stand as we look for Raith Rovers FC to become the heartbeat of our local community“
Welcome to the club Scott, and we look forward to hearing more about what you’re going to be involved in in the near future!
