Joshua Kerr

Sunday May 24th 2020

The club were devastated to hear about the sudden death of a devoted Rovers supporter last week.

Joshua Kerr was aged 18 and attended games with his friends regularly as a season ticket holder from his home in Glenrothes.

On Friday at 11.10am Josh was struck by a car in Glenrothes and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An accomplished pool player as well as a football fan, Josh played competitively across the UK, and is survived by his mother, father and younger brother.

The thoughts of everyone at RRFC are with the family at this sad time.

Always willing to help others, Josh (alongside his mum Angela) also helped out in hospitality at Raith Rovers during the season just ended.

Rovers defeat Burntisland Shipyard 9-2 in a Fife Cup tie match at Stark's Park. Paul Smith and Keith Wright amongst the goalscorers with two goals apiece.
