Everyone at Raith Rovers Football Club was saddened to hear about the passing of life-long supporter and volunteer Ronnie Pollock this week.

Ronnie Pollock

Ronnie (aged 69) was a long – standing member of the Raith Rovers Supporters Club and rarely missed a match, home or away.

In addition, Ronnie assisted his son Simon with the Rovers players kit and was in the kit van to every away match ahead of the players, doing everything required to ensure that the team and backroom staff were kitted out in every aspect of their strips and kit on a matchday.

In his time working with the players and coaching staff Ronnie became known as an invaluable asset to the club. He will be sorely missed by players, coaches, backroom staff, stadium staff and volunteers.

Ronnie passed away on Monday 27th April 2020 in Victoria Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Linda, and sons Simon and Nathan.
The family wish to pass on their heartfelt thanks to all the NHS staff and especially the ICU staff for all their hard work.
