New Official Club Tie

Thursday September 13th 2012

Raith Rovers FC and ACA Sports have worked together to ensure that, for the many supporters who like to wear one, there is again an official Club tie available to purchase.

Supplies of the old Club tie ran out over a year ago and ACA Sports was asked to make arrangements for a new tie to be produced.  Although it has been available to purchase for a number of months in ACA’s High street store, only now is it being formally adopted by the Club.

Bill O’Neil, the Club’s Commercial Director said, “It’s good that we have been able to adopt this tie.   A club like Raith Rovers needs a tie for its supporters to wear, showing their allegiance to the Club in more formal settings.  We are pleased we’ve been able to make this arrangement with ACA Sports.

Laurie Ellis popped into ACA Sports to pick up his new Club tie from Alastair Cameron

Alastair Cameron of ACA Sports said, “We are always pleased to work on commercial ventures like this with Raith Rovers.  I am sure that supporters will like the tie and I feel that it is a subtle enough design that it can be worn on any occasion, not only at sports or football events.”

The tie is navy in colour with silver diagonal stripes and it has the Club crest embroidered on the blade.  The new tie will be available to buy in ACA Sports from Friday of this week, and it will also be on sale in the Club Shop in Stark’s Park from Saturday.
