Raith Rovers have, and always will, support charities whether they be local or indeed national bodies.
We have over the past two years channelled most of our efforts, in conjunction with ACA Sports, towards the Maggie’s Centre at Victoria Hospital and in fact linked our “Ladies Day” match to this extremely worthwhile cause.
Every season we organise collections at the ground, which we believe are financially extremely worthwhile. Cancer Research, Samaritans, Meningitis Research Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis and Breast Cancer are just a few of our invited charities.
The Club also sponsor a scheme through the Rovers Down South to help the Barnardo’s Kids attend all our home matches.
The Directors of the club all individually support their own chosen charities, and it must be appreciated that the club cannot respond to each and every request at Stark’s Park. We therefore hope that fans and charity fund raisers will appreciate the Rover’s position.
