Rovers striker Jack Smith has signed an extension to his contract.
The striker – who turned 20 on Tuesday – was first brought into first team squad training when he started his Modern Apprenticeship in season 2017-18, signing his first professional contract in May 2019.
Jack is a graduate of FEFA (Fife Elite Football Academy), and is another example of a Kirkcaldy – born youngster keen to make his mark with the Rovers!
His new deal sees him contracted to the club until June 2021.
Rovers manager John McGlynn commented “Jack is a striker who I feel will be a first team regular in the years to come.
Myself and Paul Smith watch him every day in training and he has a lot to offer, his chances this season have been limited due to the odd little injury here and there but also with the other strikers we have and the recent signing of Steven MacLean it has been difficult to get much game time.
I believe he just needs more time to develop, get stronger, keep learning and in time we will see the best of him”
