SSAFA Charity Collection

Tuesday March 3rd 2020

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity will be collecting at tonight’s Ladbrokes SPFL League 1 match v Falkirk.

The Charity has been providing lifelong support for people who serve, or have served in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, the British Army or the Royal Air Force – and their Families.

Support is given by their trained volunteer caseworkers, providing personalised, face to face support for the Armed Forces Community in the local area.

They help the individual or family member to access the required assistance.

They put them in contact with the support services they require to get them back on track, whether it is financial, practical or emotional.

They provide the right kind of support – ensuring independence and dignity are protected at all times.

This evening, the SSAFA volunteers will be supported by Air Cadets from 775(Burntisland) Sqn. ATC.

More info on the charity can be found here.

Barry Smith is named as the new Raith Rovers Manager following the departure of John Hughes.
