Festive Raffle Update

Friday December 20th 2019

Tickets for our annual Festive Raffle are selling well.

Top prize is 4 nights in Budapest for 2,  including flights, accommodation & £200 to spend supplied by Travel Your World in association with Jet2holidays. Once again, our thanks to Bruce & Grant from Travel Your World.

A special mention also to Lisa & Toni at Co-op Dunnikier – we are hoping they can sell 100 tickets for us.

We’ve got our best ever prizes for our annual raffle; 3 chances of holidays, 2 golf fourballs, wine & cheese for 6, a catered afternoon tea party, and many other prizes.

£1 a ticket from venues all over town (full list here). You need to buy your tickets before the draw on 4th January at Stark’s Park. Every penny raised goes to The Rovers:

Rovers take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie in the First Round of the Scottish Cup and earn a 1-1 draw in front of 10719 fans. Rovers scorer is Tom Mackle. Mackle had earlier hit the bar and Davie Sneddon met a similar fate with hi penalty. The Dons win the replay 0-1 back at Stark's Park two days later in near gale force conditions. The only goal of the game came in bizarre fashion. Bobby Reid?s clearance got caught in the strong wind and blew back into his own net.
