Volunteer Positions

We have two fantastic opportunities for anyone looking to volunteer with the club.

ROVERS SUPER LOTTO SELLER – MATCH-DAY

 Key Duties:

    • Attending home  match-days, generally 1 hour in advance of kick off 
    • Ensuring table and banner are safe, tidy and presentable for customers, and that pens, forms and float are available
    • Being point of contact for customer enquiries
    • Making cash sales and collecting the tickets
    • Assisting with standing order forms

 Specific skills, experience required:

    • Sales background preferable, as this is an active (as opposed to passive) sales role
    • Engaging personality
    • Good written English, competent with numbers and handling cash
    • Organisation skills and able to follow instructions.

 Areas where training may be given (as required):

    • Lotto programme administration
    • Handling customer enquiries

  

50/50 SELLER – MATCH-DAY

Key Duties:

    • Attending home  match-days, generally 1 hour in advance of kick off 
    • Ensuring table is safe, tidy and presentable for customers and float are available
    • Being point of contact for customer enquiries. 
    • Making cash sales and collecting the tickets
    • Providing takings to office, and share to match-day announcer pre half time. 

 Specific skills, experience required:

    • Sales background preferable, as this is an active (as opposed to passive) sales role
    • Engaging personality
    • Competent with numbers and handling cash
    • Organisation skills and able to follow instructions. 

 Areas where training may be given (as required):  Cash handling
