Brad Spencer

Friday October 4th 2019

Raith Rovers are pleased to announce that midfielder Brad Spencer (23) has agreed to a contract extension offered to him by the club, which commits him to the Rovers until the end of season 2020-21.

Brad has been in excellent form in central midfield alongside Regan Hendry and Ross Matthews, showing a great range of passing, providing a number of assists for his teammates.

He has played in all but 1 of our competitive matches this season, scoring 1 goal so far.

Speaking exclusively to www.raithrovers.net, Rovers manager John McGlynn commented “Brad has been impressive since he walked into Stark’s Park in June for pre-season training; he did really well during pre-season and has continued to improve.

He has the most assists in SPFL Ladbrokes League 1, so he sees passes and can make them. He’s enjoying his football and as soon as we mentioned extending his contract he jumped at the chance to work here until at least the summer of 2021″.

Cammy Fraser who had retired from playing through injury at the end of the previous season signs for Rovers. The former Hearts and Dundee midfield player had been released by Rangers
