Raith Rovers are delighted to have secured the signatures of two stars of the future.

Kieron Bowie is a striker and is a current Kirkcaldy High School pupil, and will play for Rovers Reserves as well as FEFA under 18s.

Dylan Tait hails from Glasgow and is a attacking midfielder who can also play in the number 10 role. Dylan has recently been attending Cardonald College on a Sports Performance course where one of his tutors is the legendary Davie McGurn. On completion of his course he will be at the Rovers full time.

Both players have signed Professional Youth Contracts until June 2021.

Assistant Manager Paul Smith said: “We’re delighted to sign both players. Since myself and John came in to the club they have impressed us in matches. Subsequently they have impressed in training with the first team squad. This is only the start for them both, and they will benefit from their time with us as long as they continue working hard at improving their game”

Chairman Bill Clark added: “I’m delighted that we have signed two young players who are at the start of their careers but have already demonstrated their talent and willingness to learn. This is a further demonstration of the club’s commitment to developing young players”.

“I also welcome the continued support from those of you who contribute to the Youth Development Fund on a regular basis and there will be further information for you over the next week”
