International Women’s Day

Friday March 8th 2019

We are delighted to recognise International Women’s Day on Saturday at our home match versus Airdrieonians. All women and girls will be made very welcome and the first 100 will receive a free goody bag on the day. We will also be joined by Raith Rovers Ladies and Girls.

With the help of the Raith Forum, new mirrors have been installed in the toilets and we are pleased to be launching our support of the On the Ball campaign to provide complimentary sanitary products.

There will be a dedicated turnstile (turnstile D) for ladies and there will also be a special playlist on the day, with Roary Rover joining in on the fun too!

Come along for a great day and bring all the women in your life.

Following the goal-less draw three days earlier Rovers lose 0-2 to Falkirk in the Scottish Cup semi-final replay at Tynecastle. A Jimmy Wardhaugh free kick in the first minute set the tone of the replay but it took until his second goal in the 73rd minute to seal the victory.
