Lewis Milne
Raith Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Lewis Milne.
An attacking midfielder, Lewis is 24 years old and joins on a 1 year deal having most recently played for SPFL League 2 Champions Montrose.
A native of Rosyth, Lewis started out in the youth system at Dunfermline Athletic.
He signed for Cowdenbeath in October 2008 as a 14 year old, playing in their youth setup and signing a professional contract with the Blue Brazil in July 2010. After making his first team debut in 2011, he played in the 1st XI for the Central Park side for 5 seasons. His time at Cowden yielded 12 goals from 118 matches (89 of them starts).
After a total of 8 years at Central Park, Lewis signed for Forfar Athletic at the start of the 2016-17 season before moving to Australia to play for Perth SC . He returned from Australia in November 2017, signing a short-term deal with Forfar. In his time with Forfar, Lewis played 44 matches (36 starts) and scored 10 goals.
Lewis moved to Montrose at the beginning of January 2018 as the Gable Endies made a push for promotion as league champions, scoring an impressive 11 league goals in 15 games (13 starts) which included a hat-trick against Stirling Albion in April.
