RRFC Festive Raffle Needs Local Heroes

Wednesday December 5th 2018

This year Supporters Director, Andy Mill, has opened out the annual Christmas raffle to all Rovers supporters groups as he wants to increase sales to raise £10,000 for Raith Rovers. For the first time, many retail outlets are now involved to help us achieve & surpass this target. Many local firms have also generously contributed prizes for the raffle. Currently, there are 20 prizes & this total will grow until the draw at Stark’s Park on 5th January 2019. A full list of prizes can be found here

So far, The Novar Bar has cruised past 150 ticket sales because of active selling, and you can help and become a “local hero” in helping us achieve our target by selling the raffle tickets in your local too. Tickets & prize lists are available from the Stark’s Park office or the 200 Club.

Following the goal-less draw three days earlier Rovers lose 0-2 to Falkirk in the Scottish Cup semi-final replay at Tynecastle. A Jimmy Wardhaugh free kick in the first minute set the tone of the replay but it took until his second goal in the 73rd minute to seal the victory.
