Retro Rovers Day

Wednesday September 19th 2018

Rovers take on Montrose at Stark’s Park this Saturday afternoon for the first league match between the teams in 26 years.

We are going to have our second Retro Rovers Day this weekend: Last season, we had a great collection of old strips on show and this year we want to see more! This is another chance for everyone to dig out your favourite Rovers’ top from yesteryear and wear it to the match.

We would love to see Stark’s Park kitted out from tops from all eras. There are so many crackers to choose from, it will be hard to decide which one to wear!

Anyone who wears a retro top to the match, if spotted by one of our eagle – eyed volunteers, will receive a raffle ticket to our FREE half-time draw.

Our official club photographer will be on hand to capture as many pics as possible and we’ll have a variety of great tops on display in the Penman Family Stand concourse and there are “guess the year” posters up too. See how many you can get correct… and how many you still have in your wardrobe!

Get down for some Retro Rovers this Saturday. 3pm Kick off.

Rovers defeated by a strong Bayern Munich team in the third round of the UEFA Cup at Easter Road in front of 12818 fans. This was the home tie which was shifted from Stark's Park to Easter Road to attract a bigger crowd.
