Season 2018-19 Squad Photo

Wednesday August 8th 2018

The Rovers squad have been training at Stark’s Park on the new playing surface all this week, as training has returned to the stadium for the first time in decades.

Club Photographer Walter Neilson took the official photo of the Rovers squad, as well as headshots of the players for use on the website, in Rovers Review (the RRFC matchday programme) and by the local and national press. The Players page on the website has been updated with biographies of each of our retained and newer players.

Lifelong Rovers supporter Dave Watson featured in this year’s photo, having won his place in the Rovers squad for the day during the auction at the 2017-18 end of season Awards Dinner at the Dean Park Hotel in April.

Back: James Berry, Euan Valentine, Ryan Stevenson, Jamie Watson, Nathan Flanagan, Jack Smith.

Hearts defeat Rovers 2-1 at Tynecastle in front of 12000 fans. Rovers lost to a disputed penalty with Alfie Conn scoring on his old stomping ground. George Doddie broke his leg after 70 minutes which ended his playing career.
