RaithTV Live is one of the club’s success stories of recent years, growing an online community that tunes in on match days from around the World to get their fix of Rovers action. Offering video of games at Stark’s Park (to people outside the UK and Ireland) and audio commentaries of home and away games, as well as chat with other fans.
The live service returns tonight, with audio coverage of the friendly at Dunfermline at New Bayview.
Created and run by volunteers, it’s a fun way to feel part of things when you can’t be there in person.
As well as live streaming, RaithTV offers highlights, interviews and other features. The team travel up and down the country to record the action – last season making trips to as far away as Buckie and Stranraer.
RaithTV is a great way for fans to learn about what’s happening around the club, but it’s also helping support the club financially. Each year, through subscriptions and sponsorship by Rovers Down South, RaithTV contributes thousands of pounds to the club – as well as being reinvested in the service itself. Over the summer, new equipment has been purchased including a new video camera and computer for editing.
Due to new audio broadcast equipment, the team were able to cover a lot more away games than had been anticipated last season. In previous years, only a handful of away games were covered. Last season, almost all had commentaries. While coverage of every game cannot be guaranteed, the team expect to cover at least 40 games.
To reflect the greater coverage, prices have been increased. This still represents excellent value when compared to purchasing individual match passes.
Early-bird offers are in place until the first league game (4th August).
Video Season Pass: £80 (£70 early-bird)
Video Match Pass: £5
Audio Season Pass: £40 (£35 early-bird)
Audio Match Pass: £3
Free Season Ticket Offer
Last season, the club offered a free audio pass for RRFC Season Ticket holders – allowing them to tune in to games that they couldn’t make in person. This is being offered again this year.
To redeem, register and click on the banner at the top of the page for subscription offers. This pass must only be used for your own personal use.
Over the summer, some changes have taken place to the website behind the scenes. Because of this, anyone who signed up before Summer 2018 is being asked to register again. It only takes a couple of minutes.
Due to the changes, there may be some unexpected bugs that appear as users log in to use it for the Dunfermline game. If you want to tune in for this game, please register as early as you can and be patient if requesting help.
