Pre – Season Update

Tuesday June 5th 2018

There’s a lot going on at Stark’s Park already this close season, with work on the new pitch taking place. On the playing front, discussions are ongoing with potential signing targets….

Pre – Season Friendly matches

Manager Barry Smith and the coaching staff have arranged the following fixtures in advance of competitive matches starting:

Wednesday 4th July, 7.45pm kick off: Home match v Dunfermline Athletic at New Bayview, Methil (due to pitch installation works taking place at Stark’s Park).

As this is a Rovers home match, RRFC Season Tickets are valid for this game, with all other supporters paying at the turnstile. Admission prices will be confirmed and announced in due course.

Saturday 7th July, 3pm kick off: Berwick Rangers v Raith Rovers at Shielfield Park, Berwick.

League Cup

As announced yesterday; Rovers fixtures in the Group C of the Betfred League Cup are as follows:

Saturday 14th July, 3pm: Raith Rovers V Cowdenbeath (provisionally arranged for New Bayview Stadium Methil, dependent on the progress of our pitch installation)
Saturday 21st July, 3pm: Raith Rovers v Hearts (location as detailed above). This match will be broadcast live on BT Sport
Tuesday 24th July, 7.45pm: Inverness CT v Rovers
Saturday 28th July, 3pm: Cove Rangers v Raith Rovers

Rovers defeated by a strong Bayern Munich team in the third round of the UEFA Cup at Easter Road in front of 12818 fans. This was the home tie which was shifted from Stark's Park to Easter Road to attract a bigger crowd.
