Craig Easton and Roary Rover officially opened the Kingdom Homes Residents Art Exhibition at the Community Hub in the Mercat this morning.  The exhibition is
on until Saturday May 19th and is a display of artwork created by residents during their art therapy groups including creative writing, paintings, drawings, sculptures, textile art and performing art.  The purpose of the exhibition is to change the preconception of care homes and for them not to be seen as the last chapters in someone’s life, but as a brand new chapter, full of possibilities.

Craig and Roary were joined this morning with residents from the various homes and by nursery children from Little Einsteins who recently visited Methven House to take part in the art project.
