League 1 PFA Player of the Year Nominations

Raith Rovers are delighted to announce that top scorer Lewis Vaughan has been nominated as one of the contenders for this seasons Player of the Year award by the Professional Footballers’ Association Scotland.

The award has been presented since the 1977–78 season and the winner is chosen by a vote amongst the members of the players’ trade union, the Professional Footballers’ Association Scotland.

Lewis, who was signed by former manager John McGlynn for Raith Rovers as a 15 year old, has had an eventful Rovers career so far, and this award is testament to his dedication to the club and his fight back to full fitness after injury 2 years ago.

Lewis attended the event at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum with fellow nominees Alan Trouten of Albion Rovers, Michael Moffat and Lawrence Shankland of Ayr United.
